Croot's Corner

Dear praying friends:

It is well past time for an update. It has been so good to have you praying for us all this time. I must ad mit that the last few weeks have been rather trying, while waiting for dates for surgery, and as my eyesight diminishes more and more each day.

Yesterday we got word that I need to go to the Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) on the 26th March for my pre-admission appointment, then the actual surgery will be Wednesday, 31st March. Still 4 weeks away – and as much as I am thankful to soon have the surgery, there is also the “unknown” and what it will be like, after the oral and maxillofacial surgeon has removed so much of the upper left jaw and teeth.

It has been a busy household with Brad, Rachel and three children here these past 5 weeks. They have, at last, got finance through to be able to purchase a house, and they hope to move in this coming weekend. The three children have settled in well at their new schools.

On March 17th, we will be having a new oven installed, and renovations to the kitchen cabinets – so, I am guessing we are in for a bit of a mess for a few days, but it will be wonderful to again have Bev doing some baking.

Rhesa, Renee and families are all well and busy. Raewyn is thankful she was at the edge of the swimming pool last weekend, when Gregan decided to follow the ball into the water – she was able to pull him off the bottom of the pool before he became “an emergency.” Roxanne and family are also keeping busy – Benjamin is enjoying his two full days at school – and Hannah is always excited when he gets home, so she can with him play.
