Prayer & Praise

Prayer Requests

- For upcoming trip to Indonesia in Sept/Oct 2009 and for safety in travel

- We serve on an itinerate basis requiring 2-4 trips from the U.S. to Indonesia each year. We are needing to trust the Lord for a minimum of $6000.00 per year to help cover the costs of these trips.

- Wisdom as we serve together with our Wana Tribal Co-Workers in Bible curriculum development for the Wana believers. We are presently working on Bible lessons for James along with some specific topical lessons.

- For our 6 Wana churches, their pastors, deacons, and Bible teachers.

- The evangelistic outreach in a neighboring dialect of the Wana people living at the village of "White Rock". We have two Wana families living there on a full time basis serving as missionaries to this group.

- For the people in the village of "Lone Rock" whom we have just recently had the opportunity to teach for the first time and for continued interest in the Gospel.

- Our church plant in the provincial capital of Palu, in which our Wana tribal believers are actively involved. Pray for unity for all those involved in helping with this outreach.

- That the Lord would continue to raise up laborers from amongst the Wana tribal people to take the gospel to other areas.

- Pray for Ed as he also serves on the Central Indonesia leadership team. Pray for the leadership team and all the day to day decisions they face.

Praise Items

- The New Testament has recently been printed and dedicated, and now in the process of distribution!

- Praise that helicopter service has been restored to our island.

- For profitable leadership meetings.

- Being able to present the gospel for the first time in the village of "Lone Rock."

- For the new believers in the out reach at the village of "White Rock."

- The progression of the Bible lessons and curriculum development.

- For 8 Wana students presently attending our National Missionary Training Center.
