Greetings all,

Just wanted to thank you for praying for may visa entry permit to come through. I found it waiting for me at the Post Office yesterday so am now thankful to have all my paperwork in order for this next trip. We will appreciate your continued prayers for the preparations and for the provisions still needed.

Also another big answer to prayer is that we just received a letter of invitation from the small group of believers on the island to the east inviting us to come to learn their language, translate the Scriptures, and to teach them God’s Word. The majority of the people on this island are still living in spiritual darkness so we are looking forward to this opportunity to expand the reach of the gospel to this area. Below a snap shot of some of the people who live on this island who were excited to see us land in the helicopter land.

Greetings all,

I am once again in the middle of making preparations for another trip to Indonesia. I just sent my passport in to the Indonesia consulate and they should be processing that sometime this week. Pray that they will once again look upon me with favor and grant me this important little sticker.

My plans are to depart for Indonesia on March 30 and will be gone for six weeks. I am looking forward to this trip and for what the Lord has in store. Some of the activities I will be involved in will be a consultant visit to a neighboring tribe, our Wana church leadership seminar, visiting the Wana churches, working with our Wana co-workers on curriculum development, survey planning, and participating in our field wide leadership meetings. We will appreciate your prayers as we are making preparations for this, and also as we will need to trust $3000 for the trip to cover airfares, helicopter fees, and accommodations.

Earlier in February...

Just a note to let you know that Jeanne and I arrived home from Peru last Wednesday evening. We had a wonderful trip – we felt blessed to be able to spend this time with the kids after nearly 3 years, and blessed too to see the ministry they are involved in there. Thank you for your prayers while we were gone and we appreciate your prayers for Geoff and Tina too as they continue with their ministry there in Peru.
